Water pipes I understand, but food containers should be bio-degradable, we only keep food around a few months at most. Hopefully companies will come up with something.

Worst part is that 70 percent of plastic use is for things that are used once and thrown out.... if they are going to be used once why cant we make them out of something that doesnt need to be strong? Like straws, utensils, plastic bags. We use them literally once.
