The land creature that you could traverse the world would be known as Yoshi

I hope that the next 3D Mario has a giant Mario robot made by E. Gadd

To be honest, I don't like the idea of traditional power-ups in 3d Mario. If there is to be some form of power-up, it needs to be temporary. Like the wing, vanish, and metal caps in SM64. They work well because you have to unlock them and they can only be used in certain places. Also, regarding SM64, the cannons were brilliant, they give shortcuts in levels but only if you talked to specific bob-ombs. Include collectables, and you have a great progression system. Get enough of a collectable and it opens up an area with a power-up similar to the wing cap. Use the wing cap like power to get to new areas and also get collectables in previous areas.

9:27 I think a playable Mario Kart in the next 3D Mario is more likely than we think, especially if is open world akin to Bowsers fury. Nintendo has already set the precedent that Mario Kart to stand alongside Mario’s big adventures in the movie. And both the Mario Kart and 3D Mario teams have been likely working on unannounced projects for roughly the same amount of time so it’s feasible that they could have worked together

this is exactly what i thought i recently bought mario 3d world + bowser's fury because it was on sale last month for black friday and with bowser's fury the gameplay felt alittle different i think it was a test for the next 3d mario game it has to be

I can imagine them doing a region based character that's rampaging similar to how the Devine beasts were big fixtures in their regions in BOTW causing chaos of such

I mean Nintendo made those small 3d Kirby games to see how Kirby will be in 3d and then made forgotten land, who's to say Bowser fury was a test for pure Open world Mario

Yeah. This sounds like something Nintendo would do...

basic info if you don't have 16 minutes to spare
3d world is linear where as bowsers fury is open world and more along the lines of 64 sunshine and oddyssey with its open sand box
bowsers fury is basicly a big open world
the next game will likley have areas that open up one part at a time when you get enough stars instead of w1 w2 w3 etc
it would still have platforming areas

The next game should:

* Not have a map mostly made of water, because that's boring.
* Have more organic and interesting looking areas. Most of Bowser Fury's environments consist of basic one or two-color brick blocks / stone and smaller other decorations. More interesting theming and areas are necessary to keep excitement and wonder.
* No repeating timed event like Bowser's fury. That would get old really fast.
* More nooks and crannies, more possibilities for deeper exploration.
* Have two main rewards instead of one, one for simpler tasks and one for bigger challenges, eg moon shards and whole moons.
* Fewer boring filler tasks than Odyssey
* Seamlessly integrated platforming challenges. Eg, a forest where platforming can be seamlessly done on the branches, a giant mountain crater where obstacle courses are seamlessly integrated into valleys between the outside and inside (inside could be a haunted area with a huge mansion), an obstacle course integrated into a mountain side, etc.

So, basically a giant detailed and varied hub for many sprawling, interesting, and seamless platforming challenges and encounters throughout.

I'm curious about something. I have a switch lite. If I got Mario odyssey would the game work with it?

I would love the whole game to be time based, the whole game be Majora's Mask, every day of the week has different events going on, Bosses could be different at every time and could appear only on a specific day, until you defeat it at least, essentially, I want to constantly be able to do something at any time.
That would be my dream 3D Mario game.

In Bowser's Fury you can hold up to 5 of the same Item, not 9. And aside from Boom-Boom and Pom-Pom there is also Prince Bully as a boss. And there is Shadow Luigi appearing sometimes.

Yeah, Mario's Fury just like on the thumbnail.
