We sat down with Swen Vincke (Game Director), Adam Smith (Lead Writer), and Nick Pechenin (Lead Systems Designer) to break down every race in Baldur's Gate 3 including the new hal-orc and dragonborn races.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a massive RPG based on the the Dungeons and Dragons TTRPG. The game is being developed by Larian Studios and has been in early access for the last few years. It comes to PC on August 3, 2023 and PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2023.

If you’ve ever wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons. This is the perfect 5th edition experience. It amazes me how much detail is in this game

I think the reason Half Elves were picked the most was because of their stats. +2 charisma, which is used for a lot of the classes, and +2 pick another stat so you can build them for specific builds too. Very useful

I love the Dwarf design.

1. Their posture, standing as tall as they can
2. They are broad as heck
3. Male or Female they all get beards!

These are the Dwarves I know and love!

Side note: Strength based Dwarven Characters can jump further than they can run :D

As I grow older sometimes i think "ok, thats it. Gaming isnt fun to me anymore. I dont enjoy it anymore like i used to. Games cant catch me anymore, cant draw me into their worlds."

And then there are games like this and BOOM i feel like a kid again and my love to videogames is renewed and my enthusiasm restored ❤.

Thank you for making the half-orc playable, first character I ever played in D&D was a half-orc barbarian and I've loved them ever since.

Well technically Lolth & the Draw were essentially banned from Elven culture, so having them as a separate race makes a lot of sense, to me at least, also thank you for making us buff, typical gymbro does appreciate this very much 💪💯🙏

Baldur's Gate 3 is going to be one of those games that sets a standard, similar to what Elden Ring did when it achieved great success. I've been playing the early access version for the past few months, and although I haven't completed the game (only about 25 hours in), it's one of the best games I've played all year. I can't wait for the official launch!
