Welcome to the complete story of Final Fantasy VII Remake: Traces of Two Pasts, a novel written by scenario writer Kazushige Nojima that gives us greater insight into the backstories of Tifa Lockheart and Aerith Gainsborough. In this video we will do our best to summarise all the major plot points in the novel.

The book is divided into three parts, the first one being about Tifa, and the second and third part being about Aerith, not to mention all the people they meet along the way.

I know FF7 is like one of those PS1 cllassics that "EVERYONE KNOWS" but for me i missed that experience in my childhood.
The first Final Fantasy game i ever played was 10 and i never played any of the older ones and outside of Kingdom Hearts i have no history with these characters or their story. I find the FF7 story at least for the remake to be unique for sure.
I can see how people are taken with Tifia and Aerith, they're great characters, i was hoping they would get the FF15 treatment and have a DLC dedicated to them or something.
I suppose this is the closest we'll get so thanks for summing the novel up.
