WATCH before you buy this plugin

SnapBack is a new plugin from @Cableguys , and it’s a great idea and execution for layering plugins. It lets you add layers or even stack sounds in front of your drum shots and samples—an ultimate tool for drum layering, all in a single, compact plugin. Now the question is, can we create something similar in @bitwig ? The answer is, of course, yes! You can download a free preset for Bitwig here that already comes with a sample. Just drop it on a drum track and start layering right away. Bitwig’s Replacer device is already pretty accurate by default.

I think the basic point of the SnapBack plugin is that its easy to use. You can also add samples manually to your drum hits if you wanted to to create the same effect. For the price I think its good. But then I'm lazy.

Like every other Cableguys plugin, I directly bought it. They only make very good and useful plugins, in my opinion!

Bravo! 👏Always bringing the goods. The delay introduced by the plugin is high but not too painful if you bounce down, but your approach is great. Bitwig FTW!

I rather chop and paste my own samples and have no latency, these days too many plugins on the market that you actually don't need imho.

I bought it after watching a demo because i found it really cool. But of course i should have waited a few days for your video…

I do like the snapback feature, even for DnB because it makes the drums a bit more organic. But normally when i use that technique, i do to snares and only on one snare per bar.

And you can also trigger it with midi if you don’t want every hit to have the snapback, i guess

A LOT of plugins nowadays are just to get some earnings by allowing you doing something that you can perfectly do manually on any DAW, as a huge BT fan I'd buy it, but I don't see it as a must have like Stutter Edit or BreakTweaker, so I'll pass on this one!
