There’s such a large variety of accents within the UK. It would be interesting to hear you speak with a Scottish person - we have notoriously difficult to understand accents😂

The topic of 'British' accents opens up a whole can of worms! I'm glad you acknowledged that there are many different accents throughout the UK, including variations of RP. I find Americans doing a 'British' accent usually swing between RP and Cockney, and words like bruv and innit are more typical of Multicultural London English. I recommend Eat Sleep Dream English for much more on UK accents. Word of warning to non Brits: posh (implies wealth & privilege) and chav (implies the opposite) can have negative connotations, so take care with their use. Loved this video though, more please! 😍

My friend, it's actually an "English" accent. The Scots, Welsh and Irish would never describe any accent as British.
