BTW, the reason English works so well as a world language is you mispronounce it greatly but will still be understood by native speakers if you get the CONSONANTS right, you can mangle the vowels all day long and still get your message across. That means emphasize the chโ€™s, the final sโ€™s, tโ€™s, nโ€™s, etc. when I taught English in Thailand I always had a rubber snake in my hand which I would wiggle in my studentโ€™s face when they failed to pronounce the final Languages like Thai, Japanese, Spanish are very vowel oriented, English is like German and mandarin, a box of rocks and snakes!

Yeah it's a huge difference between the English accent in which I talk to myself and the English accent in which I talk to people ๐Ÿ˜›
I often speak English fast and fluently in my mind but during speaking to people I truly get nervous and my proficiency in english sometimes vanishes ๐Ÿ™ƒ

I am American and it's strange hearing the way we pronounce things explained. Hats off to the people trying to understand the way we break English and then Frankenstein it back together.
