I am Papa Brad. I love everything RETRO! I grew up in the arcade golden age. As a kid when my parents asked if I wanted to go the toy store or arcade, I always picked arcade. The 80s and 90s arcade games will hold a special place in my heart. The Atari 2600 was the first console that brought the arcade experience home. Today, I have an arcade in my home with cabs from all the main home arcade companies. I love ALL things arcade, retro, and pinball. It constantly changes with me. I’m thinking casuals just mindlessly love Arcade1Up no matter how poor they treat their customers. Meanwhile, iiRcade is showing them what listening and respecting their customer base looks like by dropping amazing game after amazing game and talking directly to their customers from the top down with direct answers and improvements. The bowing deck protector is a 1 minute, easy, peasy fix. Just loosen the four screws, gently hold the protective plex down, and tighten the four screws. I highly recommend waiting until your good stick arrives, prior to assembling, as you'll have to completely disassemble most of the cab, and unscrew the monitor's 8 C screws to remove the monitor/control deck combo board to get at the controller. I have the Class of 81 cab, which seems to be working nicely, but I have yet to really put Ms Pac through her paces on the control input missing bug. By the way, my cabinet did update, and some sluggishness went away on games like Galaga, and a few others. So, maybe the Pac response will improve after you update. Good luck on the mod-up.

I just finished giving Ms Pac a good run, and the stick is actually a 4 way stick, not 8. I'm guessing that demo unit may have had an 8 way controller in it for whatever reason. I did not miss a single move, except for my own ineptitude in Ms Pac. LOL I will be getting the Pac cab, next month, but I agree, the quality of the stick could do with some improvement. My cab had the loose plex, too, and as mentioned below, was a quick fix, no problem. All good, now.

Can you confirm it’s an 8 way joystick on the Pac-Man cab ? I heard it was an 8 way on the class of ‘81 deluxe.

I must admit that Pac Man machine looks nice.
Problem is, is that this is like the 20th Pac Man machine they have released and the market is already flooded with Arcade1up machines.
So I really don't see too many people buying them.

Don’t know how you can review something from a display unit and point out the deck protector and buttons do you realize how many people and little kids play on a display unit?

Disappointed with Mrs. Pacman cab. They are very similar. They could have done a different play list.
