GRANT RANT: The Dumbest Thing You Could Buy—I want to tell you a secret. The dumbest thing you can buy is a big expensive luxury car like my Rolls Royce Wraith. One of the smartest things I did in my life was that I didn’t go and buy some exotic car like so many of these guys do when they get a little bit of money. I waited…and waited…and waited some more until I didn’t have to buy one and until it didn’t matter. I just got my financial statement in, the first 3 months of this year compared to last year—a double. Once you make enough money to where you can blow 384K and it doesn’t matter, then go get your Rolls Royce. Until then do not waste your money on watches and cars. You guys that are buying $3,000 suits, stupid. You guys who are buying 200K cars, stupid. You need paper. You need net worth, you need passive income, you need flows. You don’t need a Rolls Royce!

99.9% of people will agree with this video and go out and buy the car the first opportunity they get.

Moral of the story is work so hard and build enough wealth to the point where expensive becomes cheap

Warren Buffett would call that a $25.4 Million dollar car...that is what you gave up in $384K compounded over 30 years at 15%

I made $20, 000 last month. Didn't buy anything but a new desk for my office, which in the long run benefits my productivity. I'm on a budget. No restaurants. No alcohol. No bullshit. No car notes. No new clothing. Minimalism and increasing income is the aim for me. I have no desire to drive a Rolls Royce. For what? To get pussy or to have other dudes thinking I'm balling??? I'll pass and save my damn money..

I paid $4, 500 for my 2001 Toyota five years ago and this thing will not die. I think I'm going to be driving it forever and that's fine with me. It's fun to have money and not care what you drive! It confuses people :-)

99% of all cars depreciate. The smartest thing to do would be to buy a one year old Honda or Toyota that still comes with 100, 000 mile warranty.

I hit my goal of making 50k in one month. As my reward I bought a pair of sun glasses. $400 sunglasses. No one needs $400 sunglasses. I have friends who make 5k per month. Driving brand new $50, 000 cars. I still drive my 2001 Tacoma. Priorities folks! Get those assets in place. When I hit 75k I will by an electric skateboard and at 100k a Tesla. If you spend more then u make in 1 month on a car. I am not sure what u are thinking.

Delayed gratification is a foreign concept to many people. Uncontrolled consumption, ego, earning "fake" respect from useless people and making out to everyone that you are a somebody seemed to be the way people are behaving nowadays... ie. "competing with the Jones!!"
Cars, boats and anything that eats and shits cost money to maintain but most importantly they all depreciate in value. If u wanna get rich, it is not about how much money you make but rather what you do with it when u get it. Most people have no clue what to do once the money is in their hands hence why they end up losing all of within a few years.

Everyone deserves a good wage, you work hard and you reward yourself later.
We pull just about 5 - 12k in one month and I still drive a Chevy Spark. I always spend less then $20 to fill the tank and get around 35-40 MPG. Save your money! If you want that new pickup or that sports car find ways to save. I bought a sports car but I got the base model since I knew I'm not gonna take it to the track. I'm gonna take it to cruise to car meets and have a good time driving on the west coast under the sun in a convertible. Enjoy life, the best secret you could keep to yourself is the money in your bank accounts while you listen to the guy with a $80, 000 car talking about bills and house payments and how it's hard! Don't be that guy. Be smart, this guy has great ideas to share.

I know a lot of people who are still paying off their fancy cars years later while making less than $15/hr. I have nothing against buying expensive stuff because guess what, sometimes you just fucking want to, but you have to be able to afford it. Why would somebody making $15/hr spend 60k on a car? Leave the fancy stuff for the guys who earned the right to buy one. Stop fronting because real money laughs when you do.
