As a guy, I can tell you this... Guys always go back to their ex's. And girls never go back.

What confuses me is that for exes to get back together, the leaving partner needs to be satisfied with your interactions, right? However, for an avoidant to miss you and therefore feel regret, you not only need to give them space but also need to wait for their new relationship to end. So, you pull back. However, how does this work when the two of you have kids to co-parent?

Can someone give me advice? It’s been a week since the breakup and he seems happier without me. There wasn’t rly a reason for the breakup but he said wasn’t happy, I made him uncomfortable, he lost feelings, said he didn’t want to talk to me anymore, and even started talking to someone else. And others are telling me that he seems like he doesn’t ever want to come back or try things out and he seems happier. Do they come back even after all of that? Even if they weren’t happy with the relationship? It seems like he genuinely doesn’t even care cus I’ve been doing no contact and he hasn’t even looked my way. What should I do and will he come back?
