Helping people in Afghanistan to cover their life-sustaining expenditures

Thanks to Stichting Vluchteling's support, we have provided 9,950 people in Central Afghanistan with cash assistance. This assistance helps returnees and host communities to cover their living costs.

Meet Mohammad Zia (31); he lives with his small family in his father-in-law’s house in Qaum e Dehqan. He was recently repatriated from Iran. Now, he works as a labourer and struggles to find work to support his family.
"I have a son and a daughter; both kids need care. As a father, I have not done enough for them, but Allah knows I’m doing my best to provide for my family," says Mohammad Zia. “With this support, I will buy rice, wheat, oil, and beans and pay off part of my loans. As a small family, this help means the world to us,” he shares.
