Afghan couple helps refugees escape turmoil as Taliban continues Afghanistan takeover

Thousands of Afghan refugees have been taken to Qatar, where concerns remain high over the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan. The Biden administration says it plans to admit about 50,000 Afghan refugees to the U.S. But the process of leaving the country is complicated and full of twists and turns, even for people with dual citizenship. Christina Ruffini reports.

God this breaks my heart. We are the fortunate ones to have been born in the US. It's not without great loss of life...you have to fight for your freedom. If the Afghans banned together to fight the Taliban they may have had a chance...now with Taliban in control of several weapons, military aircraft, etc...no chance. This was a disaster!
