OSFirstTimer Monitor Upgrade - 27 Inch 1440p Dell U2713hm

Ever wanted to know what its like to use a 27 inch 1440p monitor? Well in this episode of OSFirstTimer I unbox a new Dell u2713hm monitor and give it a whirl. A little 22 inch 1680x1050 monitor just wasn't doing it for me anymore so this new 1440p monitor was a blast to use.

Dude, congrats on the new monitor! I really dig your videos and it's great to see somebody young executing so well on such a great idea (and keeping with it to produce a sizable library of OS UI user-testing footage. RE the monitor I used a 1440 iMac at school for a year, and then everyday at home a 1366x768 laptop. I can't wait until I get a proper monitor : ) You must be loving it. Keep up the good work!

The hate is not deserved. Just leave the poor kid alone! If he was gay (not saying you are) who cares? Let him be who he wants! At least he is into something more unique rather than just being a “gamer” or a “professional streamer.” We need more people like you Phil! Very glad that you both see the other side of this, particularly the points about repressive regimes that other people raised.

I like your videos, and I think you have both have learned a lot (and taught me a lot) through your journey of playing with these various operating systems. I look forward to your future content, but I am a sporadic viewer.
