Zone 9 Summer Apple Harvest | Anna and Golden Dorsett

Join me for our 2022 Summer apple harvest here in Southern California zone 9b! This is the second year I've harvested apples off of these two trees and I am so excited to see how my hard work and care has paid off (and my mistakes haven't ruined everything!). Stay tuned for what I plan on doing with these apples in the kitchen...that is if I don't eat them all first! They're delicious!

We're growing two varieties: Anna and Golden Dorsett. Right now they are each still competing as to which is my favorite. Let me know if you've grown either of these apples in your garden and as always, thanks for watching!

After planting Anna apples how long did it take to start harvesting??

wow really nice apply tree. I'm in the Philippines and I have more than 10 seedgrown fuji apple that needed to be grafted to produce fruits in 2-3 years. I also have asian pears that needed to be grafted. I would like to experiment what its to be like grafting another variety of apples into my seedgrown. I am just wondering if you are selling any apple scion woods?

I live in Hanford around 45 minutes from Fresno I wonder if these would grow here it’s kinda hot and winter isn’t very cold

I have an Anna Apple (Reachable that grows to 6-8 ft), and I have like clusters of 6 and 8 apples growing right now in same area. What is your advice on thinning out the apples? How soon should it be done? Immediately?

I just bought two today...I am trying to figure out how far apart from each other to plant. I noticed both of yours are pretty close together ....do u recomend keeping them close? my anna is self pollinating
