We bought a similar gadget from QVC that was not compatible with our Tracfone Android phones. Is there a similar easy to use device that actually works as described in the ads?

Omnistick ssd is
NAND, where each individual memory cell can only handle a limited number of writes before wearing out. How many writes they can handle is often specified in 1, 000 or more, they cannot handle current transients and spikes, humidity heat or cold. Which means that transfer to omnistick does not mean protection of material forever. In reality, it is the same protection as the memory device the material is already on. In addition, every time copying of digital material takes place, some of the data is lost during the transfer.

Your right it's a piece of crap. I just wasted 2 hours tring to get my PHOTOSTCK to be recognized bt my new MacBook Air unsucessfullly The person I was chatting with kept blaming it on the USB adapter to convert the USB A port to a USB C port. Not to smart it guy. I asked for a replacement and offered to send my stick back to them and he cut me off. Don't do business with this company.
