These Photostick Ads/Reviews Are Pretty Illegal

Today we take a look at the MOST deceptive practices currently on YouTube. PAID REVIEWS. That's right people getting paid to make a video about a product and claiming it is the best thing ever. Today we take a look at the Photostick and some mysterious reviews that are really ads on YouTube.

They say in the videos and ads that it “organizes” your photos. Well it literally just takes all your photos and then dumps them all into one folder. If that’s what they call “organization”.

Edit: I watched the Linus Tech Tips vid on XTRAPC, and FileRez was the same software with some minor edits, so it doesnt look the same. Its the same guys

I work for a large tech retailer and I have had at least 4 or 5 people come to me asking about this and wanting it. Before seeing any reviews or vids about them, I told them that it’s likely malware and to not spend money on it. Glad to see I wasn’t far off.

In addition to The Photo Stick being useless, when I bought several just before Christmas. my email was bombarded with 23 scam emails. I can't say for certain but it does look as if the TPS people sold my email address to everyone will to cough up a few pennies.
