Does osteoarthritis spread?

The answer isn’t a straight forward yes.

But it is possible for osteoarthritis to spread if you have developed movement compensations and have higher levels of inflammation.

My levels of inflammation, and pain dropped when I adopted the whole, plant based eating plan 100%. No oil, sugar, or salt. No looking back now. Thank you for your exercises.

Hip has stage 4 OsteoArthritis, now it's impacting the knees. I'm exercising every day even if it's only the seated workout.

the saying "motion is lotion" predominantly stems from the preventative treatment for diseases like OA. miscontrued as an overuse condition because it more frequently affects the older, more overweight population, the only effective way and individual can manage osteoarthritis is by consistently moving their joints. that doesn't look like training for and executing a triathlon, but rather going on a nice 30 minute walk and regularly stretching. ESPECIALLY as you grow older and gain weight. movement is one of the best things for most prognoses, but specifically OA.

Thank, I do strength training, it has saved. Your validating what just recently happening to my foot and leg. My whole leg was tightening up for a couple of days. RDLs took out the pain.
