I was anti vitamin c for a bit because I always got serums with l-ascorbic acid…I got breakouts each time and it made my dark spots worse like you mentioned. When I stopped using it my skin calmed down and started to heal. I believe in the benefits of vitamin c so I will try one of the derivatives

Hi Dr V, I know it is recommended to use sunscreen all year but would it then be necessary to take some type of vitamin D supplement? Also could you please do a video regarding uv filters for computer screens, phones and indeed car windows? - are they worth it, which ones are best and would they reduce your need to wear sunscreen? I tested my VitC serum on 2 peices of apple. 1 with my vitC on, it one without and the one with the serum stayed white, and remained moist. The one without started browning and drying up within 10mins
