Scag Cheetah II Review: The King of Route Density and Large Property

Hands down this is the fastest zero turn I have driven. With high/low gear the Cheetah 2 can almost keep up with the speed limit in most subdivisions. If you have tight routes or large property I highly encourage you to invest time researching the Cheetah II. Scag’s Velocity Cutter Deck is really fit for mowing tall thick grass as well, a huge perk for us lawn businesses in the north.

Try the Kawasaki fx100v efi on it. That engine simply amazing. I have same mower with Kawasaki. I demoed one with briggs, like comparing a pony to a clydesdale

I am NOT a professional Lawn Guy by any means. (I use to do it in the early 80's tho. The best year was the summer of '84 during the Tiger's World Series run)

It is extremely fast.

I have a 38 hp Kawasaki, and man does that thing scream at max RPMs.

I've noticed my hearing has gotten worse since I've gotten the Cheetah.

Great mower, excellent quality of cut.

I have never checked how much gas this thing uses, but I have to fill it up every week.

If you're wondering how get I get such low fuel consumption, it's because I use it to drive around the neighborhood.

Don't ask why I do it, it's for personal reasons.

I haven’t truly done enough research yet, but in yawls opinion, would this be a good mower for just home use and not commercial use?

They really should have stuck with the Kawasaki motors. Vanguards have always let me down.
