The Ahsoka show is here and with it the two episode premiere. Here's a full and complete breakdown of what I think is going on, as well as many easter eggs you might have missed in the show.
From sounds of Vader's force choke, to mentions of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka's possible path to Luke Skywalker. This show so far has been really great and I'm happy Dave Filoni is running it.

Ahsoka casually sidestepping the boomerang-ing inquisitor 'saber reminded me very much of the scene in Clone Wars where Anakin casually avoids a blaster bolt by tilting his head slightly to the left. She was a good student after all.

The way Sabine cuts her hair - on her knees, with the helmet in front of her, plus the way she holds the blade - is the exact same way Kanan cut his own hair before his last mission in Rebels. Look it up! Both scenes are alike. This is a great tribute to Kanan, who also happens to be Sabine’s first mentor when it comes to learning the Jedi arts. Hats off

I said this in another video but:

Ahsoka knows that Morgan is a Night Sister. In season 2 of Mando, Din asks “who is she (Morgan)?”, and Ahsoka replies, “Morgan Elsbeth. Her people were massacred during the Clone Wars.” I find it hard to believe that she’d talk about her “people” being killed off not knowing who they were.

not enough people are commenting how well the SCORE affected this show. its clearly the most accurate "john williams" feel since the sequels. it adds SO much to the tone.

I’d like to point out the parallel between kanan cutting his hair and sabine. As a Rebels fan it made me glad that Dave Filoni had enough respect to Kanan in that scene.

Crazy how Shin is much more interesting and badass in these two episodes, than Reva was in the entire Kenobi show.

I wish George Lucas’s apprentice Dave Filoni had directed the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.

Honestly, sabine and ahsoka dynamic reminds me a lot of anakin and ahsoka's when she was his padawan. Very stubborn and wanting to do their own thing without thinking of the consequences. Sabine is very reminiscent of young ahsoka. Just like Kanan and Ezra. The dynamics of a young padawan and the master is a big theme with these 2 episodes. I'm interested to see where this goes!

I think that Huyang's snarky remark to Ahsoka about the Padawan learner is actually a dig about her no longer having Sabine by her side.

A new galaxy being discovered could mean a new saga in the star wars universe

13:48 you were right to point out the stab wound was to the right of Sabines abdomen. What you failed to notice on the Qui Gon Jin clip was that he was stabbed centre point with the lightsaber going through his spine. No one lives long enough with a severed spine (unless you’re Maul and use the Dark Side to keep yourself alive).

Personally I loved when Ashoka was alluding to Anakin's tragic fall to the darkside when she said "Sometimes even the right reasons have the wrong consequences".

I gotta say Ray Stevenson’s acting is pretty good. He really did give me Liam Neeson vibes, and I can’t help but wonder if that is because they are both Northern Irish.

Also RIP Ray

I was getting MAJOR prequel style editing and story telling vibes from the first two episodes. If it stays consistent like this, Ashoka will go down as some of the best Star Wars ever.

My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that I'm _WAY_ more interested in what's going on with Baylan, Shin and Morgan than I am with the heroes so far. To the point where I was kinda hoping that the scenes with the heroes would move a little faster so we could get back to the cool stuff.

I also really liked how corelia looked more like it does aesthetically in swtor, rather than the look it had in solo.

I cannot believe how well executed from the writing, to the score, to the cinematography, the pacing, how purposeful each scene is and the dialogue in it. I’m ready for more of this standard of Star Wars. Right now, Andor and these two episodes are the standard.

To be honest it's probably the first time since clones wars/rebels that I'm really excited/intrigue by new star wars content. The first episode you can feel the amount of love, care to the star wars lore by Filoni. Taking back the root of what Jedi used to be with the og trilogy with detail like the first inspiration is they are monk like samourai or even the fact that Ahsoka seems to have a regular blade like a katana and a smaller one like a wakizashi.
The beginning have a slow pace that I don't really mind, it feels like they tells us to embrace this galaxy where we still don't know anything where there is a lot of mysteries left. It's more showed and don't over explain.

Almost everyone appearing have their moment shrouded in secrecy where you wonder who are they what lead them to become what we see now.
There some subtility especially in Baylan and his apprentice, you can understand that he was traumatized by the event of the order 66 but doesn't hold a grudge against anakin or the sith. When Shin asked about the purposed of their doing and he answer power you see what he mean. Not power to crush ennemies, or rule the galaxy neither power to rebuild some form of the jedi or the sith.

He want power to never feel so helplessness again. Shin have also a similar journey, you understand she was formed learning the jedi way but you saw some interaction where she doesn't doubt her allegiance but more the rightfullness of her doing. You can't see that Baylan trained her harshly to be able to survive. When she face Sabine you acknowledge that she never had anything else other that training with her master, it's the first time she face someone who appears to be more of an equal to her but it was dissapointing due to sabine never been trained properly. Once she saw Ahsoka ship she understand that she's no match and her mission is a priority.

There are some many thing in those first two episode like the fight having more of samourai essence, they are not over complicated and showy like the prequel, neither monotonous like the og trilogy. No excessive use of the force abilities has they seems to have come back to their more mystic roots to understand their surrounding. It's the pure essence of fighting with blade, no waste of movement, sticking and mastering the core of the blade where it's meant to kill, desarm and defend.

Going to another galaxy is a great thing for the licence it will not undermine what disney try (whatever we may think of it) to build and at the same time offer a land of opportunity for character to have time to be developp, lore to be create.

I saw some people talking about the Grysk, and why not. I wouldn't be to fan of a story like it's just a build up for the Filoni's movie where it could go like an avenger assemble to fight the grysk unless we learn everything happening so far was just the act of couple of grysk hinting at their capabilities leaving the doors open for something more.

Nonetheless it's great because it feel like star wars, everything scream star wars but I the same time they leave enough space, fresh thing to say it's still star wars. You don't really see where they are going but you understand that this time they know what they're doing..

I didn't notice that Hati and Skoll are the two wolves who devour the sun and the moon during Ragnarok. Cool detail. Could be a key to their identity

I love how this guy speaks exactly like you would expect a wise jedi teacher to speak, he is calm and cautious, warns, provides his reasoning when Shin asks about his orders, and even Morgan seems to value his insight. My favourite character on the show so far.
