Madeira Island Black Fig vs. Black Madeira Fig

This is a video comparing the Madeira Island Black fig to the Black Madeira fig. They are definitely different, but the question is are all the Black Madeira figs passed around the same.

Is your Black Madeira fig the "KK" Version? My Black Madeira KK figs are ALMOST ripe (maybe within a few weeks here in NC) Hoping they will ripen, but after the rain and cold weather we got after Hurricane Ian, it's a toss-up. Thanks for your video.
