Honestly you don't need major upgrades to the Hellcat to make it a Redeye. Dodge kind of overbuilt the base engines as it is, because well they wanted to be sure it would make the warranty period. They knew you were going to beat on these engines. Hellcat pully upgrade pretty much puts you at Redeye power levels as long as you are comfortable taking the supercharger off. It's only if you want to reach for Demon170 levels of power that you would be better off starting with a Redeye. Honestly though a base hellcat has more than enough power that any tire you put on it struggles to handle it. Fun cars to drive, but always remember, someone will always spend way more money to go a tiny bit faster.

Also missed redeye has stronger axles/driveshaft. And 2 fuel pumps over the Hellcat’s 1.

Definitely love my 19 challenger hellcat redeye 🔥🔥the best of both worlds....the redeyes have the same power trade as the demon....and a tune and some minor modifications will put you over demon power territory and be reliable.

I own a 21 charger red eye but sadly removed my badges to put on R/T badges it suck’s but it is what it is. Not trying to get it stolen and also I do have a good anti theft system on it.

Even though with all the differences in the engines... Redeyes are only two tenths of a second quicker in the quarter mile than the regular Hellcat. And what, 5 mph faster top end?
Glad I bought a regular Hellcat widebody.
