Quick note on the "gatekeeping science and maths" comment. It's a JOKE. Maths and science should be an essential part of every kid's education. It's just that after a point it gets so complex that it goes beyond the grasp of an ordinary student who isn't interested in the subject and hence shouldn't be forced to learn those topics.

PS: Upon rewatching I know how bad this comment looks. Three re-drafts and four recording sessions ffs, and my dumb brain still couldn't see it.

Everyone has heard this following dialogue from teachers: "Just memorize it now, you will learn the reason/proof later in higher class/college". Aur woh din kabhi ahi

The British designed our education system to produce obedient clerks, not thinkers. Decades later, we’re still stuck in the same loop — marks over mindset, memorizing over understanding. It’s time we break the chain.

As an indian who has picked (graphic) arts as their main subject, I cannot stress the amount of hate and skepticism I got from relatives. Anyone who found out I had takes arts immediately breakout in stupid questions like
"Oh, wouldn't that be so financially draining?"
It's not. At all. An hourly salary can be at a range of 22-100$
And then we have overreactive relatives like
"Thats so sad!"
"Aren't you good at anything else?"
🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Dude is genius.

First he is making me watch for the content. And for the second watch he is making me play and pause to read the subtext under the images.

Yeah I agree with everything man. Hope you also make a video on those coaching centre guys who " HELP STUDENTS PREPARE for JEE and NEET" that is another hell hole on its own. School life is tolerable but once you take science and on top of that get into a coaching centre you life becomes a living hell.

this video reminds that i have a worthless test to write tomorrow because not I, but my parents swallowed the blue pill for me when i was still in the womb. Thank you for the reminder, I'll go stare at the hcv books for the rest of eternity.

Hello from America! I came across your video researching education systems across the world, and you should definitely make another video on this topic. It was super well made, super informative, and best of all, so funny.

NCERT is so stupid. They first make a topic about something, give vague examples, forget to define and describe the topic, then as us to define the topic in the exam

Had the privilege to take the red pill :) I was never forced to study, and when I recached 10th I became self-motivated and studied, while keeping all my passions by my side. My parents never told me to choose any stream, they said "do what you want, it's your life!". I choose to follow my childhood dream of becoming a scientist (researcher), I love studying but I never was pressurized, I still do all my hobbies and participate in national competitions and internships without anyone ever stopping me. I am working in a research project whose paper is to be published in a few months. I'm really happy with this life and I'm very close to getting into one of the prestigious research institutes.
If you ever get a chance, take the red pill. You'll live and die happy :)

So my physics teacher once told us a story where a child who lived in a remote area far from school had to swim through a river(the bridge broke) and he didn't have enough money for books. He still did 10th and his teachers saw this and helped him by giving books etc. He was state first in 10th and afterwards he got into iit at 12th class. He finally asked us what are we doing having all this facilities and not being toppers. I wanted to say "sir you had all these facilities then why didn't you get into iit and why are u stuck as a teacher here" But i didn't. Mind you this took the whole 45 mins of the class

Soo here's an update, my Juniors just told me that he took the whole 45min class for motivation/comparing his Institute with others(self glazing). We are fucked.

I feel so proud of my parents for giving me the privilege of the red pill. They gave me the choice to choose what i want to do in life (in the future), what i want to study etc without giving me any pressure. They helped me do research for what i want to study in the future and what career i should pursue. The fact that blue pill giving parents still exist saddens me as all children must be given the choice of their future. As of now, my 10th boards are finished and I've gotten PCM admission. I aspire to do aerospace engineering and truly hope the red pill works and that the education system gets fixed. Fingers crossed 🤞
