A national poll of women ages 50 to 80 finds that nearly half experience urinary incontinence - and that many try to cope with it on their own without consulting a health care professional.

Dr. Carolyn Swenson, a urogynecologist at the University of Michigan, describes the findings and shared information about bladder leakage that can range from a nuisance to a major problem for women.
