Surely that stock exhaust and cat is going to be a big cause of the smoke and lack of power to, needs a 3"inch downpipe and 2.5" back exhaust for the flow

About to build a 270cdi 6spd stateside for some slides

I swapped the 400cdi pump even on my om647 as it ran out of fuel on my injectors around 125mm of fuel. So at about the same power level. Way too long duration as there is alot of smoke pushes the EOI way late and the fuel makes only smoke not power. I ran similar turbo with 145mm of injection on the 647 without smoke.

Great video. Is that hybrid turbo charger to OM 648 to big for a OM 647? That with an upgrade of fuel injectors and a change of gear drive on the original fuel injection pump and bigger intercooler? Keep it coming on great Mercedes tuning and let us roll with much black diesel smoke.
