Dark chocolate KitKat is the best. They are sold in Walmart. Mint dark chocolate and strawberry KitKat are also good.

Dark chocolate is my favorite chocolate, but original KitKat can't be beat. It's a lot meltier than the dark, and the wafers balance it really nice

Dark chocolate kitkats are actually my favorite. I dont know if the dark chocolate is stronger in japan or not but I think I would like it regardless.

Not sure if it's available there, but my mom loves the orange kitkat. I think you should give it a try if that is something that sounds intriguing to you.
