I have to laugh that they were trying such basic flavors of Japanese KitKats instead of going all out with cherry blossom yuzu sticky rice KitKats or something like that.

sarah mentioned the first one being salty -- she's right! those are actually sea salt + white chocolate (i literally have a bag right next to my desk). they are LEGITIMATELY quite salty so i'm surprised nobody else called it out. i don't think the other ones they tried were intended to be salty, but i could be wrong. i know there's a lemon one with salt as well.

if you guys do another video, there's a newer dark matcha that would be even more divisive than the normal matcha kitkats; it's extra bitter and grassy. it's delicious if you like matcha, in that the matcha outcompetes the sweetness. and there's a milk tea flavor that would probably be a bit more popular -- it REALLY tastes like tea with milk, maybe with a touch of citrus. to me, it tastes quite similar to a very milky earl grey.
