I have not even once purchased the $5 meal from McDonalds because everything about it is small from the burger, the fries, and the drink.

Fast food prices just need to come down across the menu. A $5 meal deal is not a good value.

Those percentages are off. Try over 138% on average. What would've cost me $15 tops at my local Wendy's is now over $40.

Unlike many markets, fast-food has sufficient competition to allow consumers to actually have a choice with known products and transparent pricing.

In many markets, there are a very few competitors, products/services are complicated, and pricing is deliberately obfuscated.

Lower prices? everything doubled or even tripled since inflation

Nothing beats home cooked. Better quality and value. And don't forget leftovers.

People aren't voting with their feet walking away. They're voting with their heart.
Too many calories too much salt and way too much sugar, safer too eat a meal at home.

“Loyalty points “…. So I have to pay inflated prices several times to earn enough “points “ to get a meal at a reasonable price. No thanks.

Looking on the bright side, it good that prices have increased, people eating less of this crap and eating at home.

Fast Food to me is a treat. Not something I would eat everyday, I go to subway and I use coupons. Why pay 15$ when I can pay $8. People who complain about fast food a a certain kind of food, they’re a certain type of weight. Stop complaining and hit the gym.

Stop your complaining about fast food prices. You want to increase minimum wage along with cost of operating, expect sticker shock to continue. Welcome to reality.

Society has now accepted that 5 dollars are the new 1 dollar.

Chipotle is fast, not casual or fat casual. Pure trash. Show me one well-reviewed Chipotle with kind & competent staff post-2019 and I'll show you a liar and cheat.

Everything is going up. Record breaking revenues for corporations and our wages are either stuck or going down…

How spontaneous was that woman in her car, taking a selfie video complaining about the ridiculousness of burger prices!?!
