US vs UK KFC | Food Wars

We tried everything on the UK and US KFC menus to find out the big differences between the two. From the portion sizes to the calories, the difference between the two chains was pretty surprising. The popcorn chicken box in the US was almost four times the size of the UK's largest option.

Fun fact: The US version (or original version) of Mountain Dew is illegal in the EU since there is a restriction on some of the chemicals in it and because of the sugar-liquid ratio

I love how they did not weight both regular and large fries to hide the fact that regular and large UK fries are only presented in a different package but seem to be around the same weight. The same strategy is used in drink sizes in many fast food chains.

Well As a KFC Team member in my country the buckets of chicken u can get are 5, 9, 7, 12, and 15. Also u can choose if u only want the chicken or with fries and biscuits 😋

KFC should bring back the ribs from the 80s, in the UK they had these devine ribs that were in a deep reddish sauce and they were amazing, ive never found anything that could come close to the flavour they had.

As a brit from Northern England I’m surprised that we don’t have the mash potato option. It seems a bit strange to have at a KFC but mash potato and gravy is really popular on a roast dinner. So I thought if anything was to be carried over to the UK menu that would definitely make the most sense

i love how all of the US' regular portion sizes are most of the time higher than the large for the UK

UK fries : potato, salt, oil
US fries: every element on the periodic table including antimatter and element 115.

It’s finger licking chemicals

At this point USA has more chemicals in there fries than a science lab

My family does KFC once every other month & we get the 16 piece w mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans & the cole slaw & of course the biscuits w butter and honey. The mashed potatoes w corn and popcorn chicken covered in cheese are so good as well as the chicken pot pie and we have those for lunch about once a month.

KFC in the US used to have corn on the cob until they realized that it was cheaper to use the canned version. KFC also used to have potato wedges and baked beans. I miss those menu items.
