Causes of pain would be uniltareal, most likely to be an injury, trauma or single time or are repetitive surgery like the tennis elbow or medial epicondylitis or it can be due to severe trauma which can pass ligamentous injuries or bony injuries over the elbow or it can be a mild pain over the muscles. Apart from this it can be an inflammatory like arthritis, like in synovitis, which is inflammatory. Or it can be due to any destructive pathology or infections or destructive pathologies like neoplasm or cancers of the elbow which are very rare causes, which are of course are a cause of pain in the elbow. Commonest reason would be a traumatic one or sometimes an inflammatory one.
