These 3060 thingies actually exist now! ☺️ After 2 years of waiting for GPU prices to approach anything near sensible, I'm finally retiring my 8 years old hand-me-down Radeon R9 270 with one of these.

With the release of the Ryzen 5600 and 5700X (not a moment too soon), I think building PCs is getting exciting again. My jack of all trades, budget video editing rig will finally be complete.

I think one of the reasons why the 1060 has lasted so long is that because of its initial and continued popularity, developers have optimized their titles for that specific GPU.

I was trying to get a 3070 for months. Eventually, I lucked out and scored a 3060 and the card is awesome. I’m getting 90-120 fps in 3440x1440p in COD vanguard. I’m very pleased with this card.
