Poison damage is broken and Max poison resist do not help. Even with capped poison resist you need to spam potion to outheal the poison.
I hope they soon fix this since it have been a problem a long time. Enemy poison damage is just broken.

Thank you I really appreciate you making this video I was having a huge issue, I got my barb to level 100 and have 115k attack power without shouts and over 200k with but I was having a problem it seems my Resistances weren't good enough and after seeing this video I have made it my personal best 87 tier in the pit. I am still learning and trying to replace and find better gear but over all I think this season has been the best. I have played since release and it's definitely a lot more fun now and I'm actually excited for the dlc. I got so tired of the one shot mechanics in the boss stages that the only way I could push Beyond 100 is to build a glass Cannon Necro and Rogue, putting everything on offense so that I kill the boss quicker and not have to deal with the BS mechanics that the Clueless devs made. This is how important quality control and feedback is.

If you want to survive this season, the best option is the Barbarian. The barb consistantly has 80K to 120K life PLUS it has its shouts which help with damage control. The reason it has such high health is the 'Imposing Presence' Tempering Aspect which you can do at the blacksmith. This is the reason that the Barb is so OP, not because of its damage, but because of its capability of survival in 100+ Pit Tiers. I really hope that next season other classes will have a similar option, but right now, I tried all classes and the Barb is King, just because of survivability.

Pro tip: don’t worry too much about armor either, just run aspect of the juggernaut. Sure it doubles your evasion cooldown, but it’s absolutely worth it for the physical damage resistance you gain…

Anyone know how to check your damage reduction from armor on the PS5? I checked my stats it lists my armor amount but not the reduction

from what I understand past 100 pit, mobs don't do more damage, just more hp.

My barb has 155k unbuffed, but it's really not from stacking hp affixs.. Plenty of nuance in the skill tree that needs much better explaining

Anyone else feel like season 4 is designed to be played by exactly cyclone barb? Every build feels like it's either not viable or trying to be that playstyle but worse. The inclusion of 1 shot mechanics with the removal of cheat death passives pronounces this design flaw in a way that strongly discourages pushing on hardcore in particular, but in softcore as well. It just feels bad dying all the time to things you can't possibly avoid.

Can you explain why damage to close is better than damage? I would think that you want vuln, crit, and dmg on gear.

I kinda skimmed the video, but I didn't see anything about fortify. That's a huge part of the defense for some of the classes.

I don't know if armor is really that important.I think you just have to stack Life and Defensive cool downs necro pw4ny got a good survival one. Wen i hit 100 ill have to experiment
