Something I noted... at L70 I could do Tier 2 without getting damaged. Tier 3 is a HUGE jump to L 100 mobs, and I got one shot. So just a note for guys not L100 yet.

All the offers are blocking slots, so you dont want to have many different events. You want to pimp Hellborne and if you dont get top tier offers, then simply pick something that doesnt cause a new event, because this will take away the chance of Hellborne or any other good event. Never pick Butcher, because there wont spawn any other events, while he is alive! And the 25 Aether reward is not big, considering you miss Aether from Hellborne for example.

The soulspires just require the player to stand in the circle, not the monsters :)

When playing with a team, you can have one person just run from spire to spire and stand there. All kills that happen when someone is standing in the circle will count towards the spire.
Spires solo is suboptimal though.

Truly informative video. However, for future videos please have timestamps. It just makes its so we know if this video has anything we actually want/need to know. Having to watch a whole video wondering if there is another personally useful in it is painful. I know algorithm wise its good for you if we watch for at least 10 minutes but we are far more likely to like and subscribe to a video that makes things informative as well as convenient.

Everything before tier 7 is wishful thinking to get significant number of masterworking mats, especially neithiron. And the gist is you really gotta be geared up to clear tier 7, so it's a catch 22. You need masterworking to gear up in order to clear tier 7, but that's where you get the majority of the mats you need to get to masterworking...

At tier 7+ the Lords just slow you down. IMO not worth the 3 Aether...

Spires can be decent, especially if you get the option where the spires pull monsters to them. Spire groups them up for you, knock them down, repeat.

Use the raining hellfire option. The aoe fire actually damages and kills the small mobs. You can literally run in circles as the npcs slowly die

Aether lords are never worth it, they don’t summon any additional units while they are alive, they can be quite tanky and if it takes you a while it’s definitely not worth it

I hate when your just about to finish a mass or spire and the time runs out and they disappear and you get nothing

Yah, anything that is per kill instead of per wave or a one time offer is good. After that, aether per single (council, start or end of wave, butcher) is ok. Spires and rain fire are just not worth it. But even the hell rain is better than spires. I do notice that the spire "stay in" only happens at start of wave. After that, any kills from a distance will take them out iirc. Everything else is spot on. Invigorating hellborne is great just before the end but won't get you aether although like the move speed, it breaks even. For survive, the "spire tethering" one is an option. BTW, GA crit chance and damage on gloves/rings seems pretty difficult. Maybe it's just weighted. I have a lot of the other damage types by comparison

I always choose the hellborne and the +1 hellborne option because they spawn frequently. Even have had +1 multiple times in the same run.

Blizzard has a fetish for letting you stand in a circle doing stuff

Very helpful video. Thank you so much. I have been enjoying the new seasonal content and feel like they have really improved gameplay all around. I just didn't understand the new stuff very well. Now I feel I will do much better.

Choosing the "Invigorated" boon gives a big dmg bonus for my build. I can fly through the council at the end.

Yeah during the season campaign there is 3 of the dungeons, one with spires, one with masses and one with hatching sack. They just introduce you to the basic events so you know what to do in the horde mode. They are basically a tutorial diguised as a campaign.

Then each has a boss at the end, which are the 2 bosses after final wave.
