I would've liked to have seen a Goldberg/Kurt Angle dream match...

Another example of a TNA/WWF/WWE VS. WCW match that we never saw & can only see in video games, somehow.

Goldberg vs Angle would've been amazing. Totally should've had one match in 04 before Goldberg left.

The thing about match quality is that it's all subjective to how much you enjoy the wrestler and how much story there is the build.

People become prisoners-of-the-moment and often don't look at the big picture. Goldberg could wrestle a long-match. A match with good technical-wrestling and good ring-psychology. The thing is, Goldberg didn't HAVE to do that. The same reason why the Ultimate Warrior didn't HAVE to do that. The same reason why Hulk Hogan didn't HAVE to do that. The Warrior had "decent" ring-skill whenever he bothered to use it. It took him awhile, but he got there. Hogan was a technician in NJPW.

One only needs to look at Goldberg's match with Regal in WCW to see that he can more that hold his own with a legitimate-wrestler. People like to try and make that into what they want because they hate Goldberg, but if your brain is functional you can see that Goldberg had an answer for everything Regal tried to do to him in that match.

Or look at his Halloween Havoc match with Diamond Dallas Page? That match was incredible from a ring psychology stand-point.

Goldberg was a guy that was willing to do whatever you want to do in the ring.

Clicked on this really hoping Kurt was honest and as per usual (staying humble and not disrespecting Goldberg either) he was! This is no dream match, Kurt was a wresting machine, could do everything in the ring, could go full out for a 30min+ match against the best… Goldberg was a beast but let’s be honest, his wrestling ability along with stamina issues make it a blessing that this matchup was never realized.

Kurt could handle big power guys like Goldberg I think they could have had a solid 15-20 minute match but Goldberg was too rough for Bret Hart and I think Sting as well it's a shame Bret had to face Goldberg he needed to be in the ring with Kurt Angle not Goldberg still hate how it all played out

Hey Kurt and all wrestling fans, watch Goldberg's matches with Sting on September 98 or May 99 or even his match with Nash on starrcade 98 regardless of how it ended. Of course his best match with DDP on HH 98. Also his great matches with Scott Steiner from 98 till 2000. All these guys were able to have a longer than 2 - 3 minutes match with Bill so stop saying such a lie that Goldberg had only 1 - 3 minutes matches. If Sting or DDP or Steiner could do it so could you Kurt.

Goldberg's squash matches wouldn't suit Kurt. Could Goldberg work long matches that weren't squash matches? Kurt said exactly what I was thinking. Well said Kurt. Kurt could work with Rey, Brock, 'Taker and even Batista; Kurt couldn't have worked well with Goldberg.
