Ah loved this! Yes maybe we should all bring hooped skirts back! I remember reading about how men, apparently, lambasted crinolines for women as it meant they couldn’t get close to them and had to keep a distance. Good to wear for everyone now 😉. Well done, I totally relate to your list, Tea, Chocolate - and personally could manage on those! The hoop made me guffaw out loud, I need a lot more laughing so thank you for that, still giggling - I am that immunosuppressed person, started self isolating three weeks ago and if it wasn’t for friends and neighbours checking on me all the time I have no idea what I would do. The stories about hoarding are horrid and so bloody selfish - I hope their toilet rolls rot in damp garages or are eaten by huge passing rodents - and I really hope everyone knocks on the door of the little old lady who mooches about on her own to check she’s ok. I think that’s happening a lot though, the have already started a what’s app group in my street to keep everyone informed. One of my neighbours whose both lovely and drives me up the wall has finally come into his own and I’ve realised that a generation earlier he would have been in Dad’s Army (ask your Mum or Dad!).
I have a plan! When this is all over ( please don’t believe the hype, for people like me it will take the rest of the year for this to properly die out so we can be safe) I intend to emerge, blinking at the light and looking like an extra from My Fair Lady! Knowing me I’ll just about manage to knit a cardigan....

Where/when I grew up people were also eating extra amounts of raw onion or garlic during the flu season. Can lead to marvellously efficient social-distancing onion breath 😜

This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time. The cat adding to the shopping list and then the crinoline over your coat! I loved this video, you have a wonderful sense of humour.
I’ve also realised why my kitten runs off with my pens and why I come home from shopping with an extra bag of frozen chicken and numerous cat treats that I don’t remember adding to my list! My 6 month old kitten, Loki was particularly impressed with your handsome floofer and was pawing at him. Thank you for a wonderful video, it really cheered me up.
