Yup I met someone a while back and I asked her out, she said yes then but I was then going through the trauma of a break up and wasn't thinking, I didn't do anything. Didn't get back to her and didn't contact her. I had several reasons:

1. I wasn't thinking or feeling straight and the break up still hurt
2. I didn't want this woman to feel like a replacement because I was desperate to be loved.
3. I needed time to figure myself out.

She and I had chatted quite a bit but after I asked her out, I stopped chatting altogether. About three weeks ago I finally was able to be rid of my trauma. I am free now. And last week I saw this woman I had asked out. When she saw me, she smiled at me and gave me a hug. I am going to ask her out tomorrow. This time I am ready.
