KIA Picanto SA engine stall and poor acceleration issue

Engine start normally but engine hard to rev, low power when drive.
Problem with the crankshaft timing wheel

Hi I realize this is a very old post however I have a cheap permanent fix for this problem that is still working after 60000km on my picanto. Buy a new crankshaft pulley and apply loctite 638 inside the pulley and around the front of the crankshaft. Loctite 638 fills up the gap, leave it 72 hours to dry before running the vehicle. If you want to remove the pulley again you will need to heat it slowly with a blow torch while pulling it. Lastly use blue loctite on the pulley bolt and make sure to torque it correctly.

MY SCENARIO - I have an 2005 rio/cinco - has the 1.6L motor. My car stutters severely when I give it gas and then when I let off, it slowly accelerates. But, my engine doesn't stall though. it dips down in the rpms when idling and after I rev the motor - but doesn't shut off. after it warms up.
No check engine lights are coming on, everything once in a while I get a misfire, because of loose wire on the coil pack harness.

If I unplug the battery, starts it up, it revs fine/normal when it's cold. But after 5 mins of operation the hesitation/stuttering starts and it has very low power on acceleration.
I've cleaned the iac, throttle body, have run many rounds of cleaners in the fuel system, I've changed everything - throttle position, o2 sensors, exhaust manifold cat, plugs, wires, coil pack and Mass airflow, none fixed the main issue, but other than making the car run better- slightly..
**other than CPU possibly having issues, replacing fuel pump, or changing fuel injectors, or taking a sledge hammer to the car, I'm wondering if I need to pull the timing belt and check this, if there's some kind of anomaly like this with your crank sprocket being loose?
Do you think this is a common problem with multiple kia motors?

Would this still affect the facelift? I have a 2007 car with this issue but thought Kia fixed this with the facelift model.

Hi Eishaka. My picanto 2005 starts normally then after around 30 mn of driving. After warming up i start losing power then the engine stalls. Could this be the problem?

I have the same problem.., a loose crankshaft sprocket.. should i just replace it or is there a underlying problem?
