Try this if you can’t turn on your DJI Tello. This fixed my problem.

The DJI Tello is pretty great for the price. But after a few (a lot) of crashes I had some trouble getting mine to turn out. After some trial and error I found a method that works consistently for me. If you have this problem give it a shot.

Buenos dias, lo voy a comentar en español, a mi me pasaba lo mismo, lo que hice fue: con la batería fuera y con el boton de power presionado, puse la bateria se prendio el led verde, luego paso a rojo y quedo en rojo, lo comunique a mi celular con wifi, actualice el firmware y esa fue la solucion, espero les sirva, saludos.

Great video. I have an issue which I hope you or someone in the comments can help me with.

When I charge my Tello via the in-drone charger, the LED is blue and will blink once per second and then after a while l light constantly for a while before returning to blinking.

When I try to turn on the aircraft, there is no LED signal at all. I've tried your method too, but there is no response from the LED.

I suspect the power button itself may be faulty, but I'm not sure how much resistance the button is supposed to provide.

I would be thrilled to solve this issue! Thanks in advance.

I let my Tello sit for about a year i was out of town got back and couldn't charge the batteries got a new battery and it won't charge i guess its no good now i did like it when it worked.I just got a mini 2 se i hope i didn't waste money.

I connect to it on my iPhone but the Tello led light is still flashing cause it still hasn’t connected yet but on phone it says it did how do I fix?

Here is how I fixed mine:
Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds when the Tello is powered off, and release it when the green indicator turns off.
Then the indicator will pulse red. Connect to the Tello's Wi-Fi and update the firmware again by using the Tello app.
Make sure that before you update the firmware, the firmware version indicated on the app should be "00.00.00.00"

Hello i had the same problem, i fixed it when i opened the tello, i found one of the motor wires, a black one, making contact with cooper from the pcb, that because i changed one of the motors and the thermofit i used slip a little bit and the wire was exposed.

Hello, I have 1 iphone5 and 1 xiaomi redmi android 4.4.4 ...on the iPhone I can not install the app Tello cause not compatible, and in the Android the app crash everytime I try to connect to the Quadcopter, does anyone know which android phones or iOS are required to run this app ?
