How does an illegal get housing, benefits, healthcare etc? That’s my biggest issue - it should be impossible to get access to public services if you’re illegal because you have NO valid paperwork so HOW DO THEY DO IT? I suspect installed and corrupt bureaucrats wave them all through. This has been a cottage industry for decades now and nothing has been done. I see so many immigrants and I think ‘how did YOU get a visa to stay here? What ‘essential skill’ did you have?’ ‘What benefit are you to us?’

It's happening in Japan too. The population is supposedly 98.5% Japanese, yet you see a solid 20-30% representation of people from South and South-East Asia in all aspects of life on top of the massive influx of Chinese immigrants. Sometime I barely hear any Japanese speech on my way back home, and I'm not even living in a big city. These aren't tourists but usually either long-term or permanent residents.
