Planting Out Brassicas (Swede & Kale) - Top Tips for Ground Preparation, Growing & Netting - #32

Brassicas provide such a range of robust vegetables including Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower etc. In this video I show you how I planted out two of my favorite brassicas; Swede and Kale.

The video provides a step by step guide with some useful tips for preparing the ground, planting, netting and growing on. The methods demonstrated in the video work for all types of brassicas.

How I haven't come across this video before escapes Great Swede growing tutorial. Watched the harvest of one od these very crop which brought me here. After a miserable attempt this year, I shall certainly be following your advice next year. Maybe even this year if its feasible to over winter my Swede varieties... thank you. Leigh.

Question for you Gary, do you remove the netting to water or pour over the top of the netting??? Loving the videos, very informative, could do with some from the start process of seedlings if you get the chance. Roy
