Anticipate traffic from a distance when approaching roundabouts. A lot of driving test candidates fail for stopping or slowing down too much when not necessary.

@DrivingSchoolWA if you anticipate and look early you should be able to judge that correctly 95% 96% per cent of the time! Although where there was one instant where I had a car infront if me that went in the roundabout and there was a car coming on their right, it was a very close call it was a near miss accident

You have forgotten Australia’s biggest traffic problem. Aussies don’t know how to use a round-about. There are two rules how to use a round-about. The legal rule and the popular rule. The legal rule is to slow down approaching a round-about and give right of way to the cars already in the round-about. Here is your Popular Aussi rule: race into the round-about. Disregard everybody except people entering from the right. (as it it was a normal crossing). People coming from the left who legally have the right to enter round-about, if they arrive at the round-about are waiting patiently. These people generally don’t know that they have the right of way!!!!

From my experience I have learnt never to fully trust people at round abouts because they don't always signal correctly.

From a technical perspective I should base my decision of their position and signalling to get marks for flow but what if a car is signalling to exit towards me but then doesn't? I would then be in a potential accident and be at fault because I haven't given always to the right.

I guess my question would be would I lose points for being slightly more cautious at round abouts?

Thanks. Unfortunately you don’t have a car from the left. Which has the right of way. The (peoples rule gives you right of way) but you should wait

some people does not know the lane rules in the roundabout. Once a Chinese girl crashed into me when exiting roundabout. I later learnt that many of my friends also have road issue with female chinese drivers. When you tell them what the issue is, they don't understand or pretending not to understand. How did they get their license in China ?

Hi, I just watched all your videos on roundabouts but I was wondering if you can please answer some of these questions 😊.
1. We have to decide when to proceed from a distance instead of stopping at the roundabout complete (behind the line)
2. How can I make it obvious for the examiner to see that I’m doing headchecks before proceeding the roundabout?
Just want to confirm cause I can sometimes be confused whether or not to proceed at a certain distance.
Thank you for providing these videos 😊.

How much should be speed when you're coming with the speed of 60 and what should it be while crossing roundabout? The tips are very useful. I have been shy driving for the last 5 years.

Cars om right DO NOT have a right of way unless they are the first car entering the roundabout.
