I thought Spirit Slap would've had a better explanation.

Though it's more of a selfish star power, it's one that has very few weaknesses unlike Healing Puffs. Since Gene's attack is 2000, and the damage from Spirit Slap is the same, the max amount of damage Gene can output is 8000-10000 if you can slip in an extra attack.

This means you broaden the amount of brawlers you can burst down without having to whittle their health. It's an entirely different playstyle from Gene where you're an aggressive Controller that can work solo in team play without having to worry about anti-group brawlers like Jessie or Squeak.

If you don’t have decent teammates do not play gene I’ve only been able to use him when I’m with my friends so we can communicate I wanted to main gene but I just can’t play with randoms or in solo showdown

As a main gene i aprove this video, but i don't agree with your opinion about the dmg star power. with that 2000 extra damage you can kill 30 extra brawlers at power 11 with a combo of super, and 3 main attacks. Having the chance of killing 30 extra brawlers with only a star power its enough to use it instead of the healing one. Anyways i've seen another videos yu have uploaded and they're pretty good. Keep it up

You really helped here, everything detailed, even a build, but for that, I use Slap Hand (i forgot) and the other gadget where you repel enemies because of Edgars, I use shield (like every of my brawlers having gears) and Talk To The Hand. Duo showdown with Edgar that can kill the enemy with healing punches and low cooldown or Shelly with high damage at close distance

i like the star power where he does damage on his super because its good to kill brawlers easier especially with more hp

I’ve been playing solo showdown with Gene so I don’t have to worry about bad randoms and honestly he’s so good with lamp blowout and spirit slap: Edgars can do nothing with their super on Gene bc of lamp blowout and if Buzz uses his super on gene and gene has his super, he can cancel the stun buzz does and create distance with lamp blowout, and the vision gear basically makes him immune to campers and leons and lets him control bushy maps
