I'm getting my dad's recliner now that he has upgraded to one with a lift, and I'm delighted to have a chair large enough to hold my growing grandbabies. This was helpful to me!

Perhaps this video helps others. Not me. I have a recliner in a relatively small bedroom. I have already made it work in a corner by providing a small custom shelf by it, as well as places to put both headphones and remote control. But a huge problem for a recliner is it creates dead unused storage space both behind and in the adjacent wall on one side of the retainer. Why the dead space? Well, while not impossible, it is very awkward to get behind the recliner. So you can't put shelves back there. You can't even put hooks on the walls because how would you get anything on and off those hooks? Maybe eventually I will figure how a way to use that space behind the recliner. Perhaps a place to hang a guitar? All in all, love the recliner, but it is truly a storage space destroyer.

Even though this lady says an interior design consult is free, their website says it's free, and I bought an expensive Lazy boy leather recline from them, the interior designer at my local store said she only helps if you are buying A WHOLE ROOM of FURNITURE from them. Ask before believing their advertising..
