I think a lot of the Scandinavian pieces fit into the timeless mid-century modern style, especially Danish, Swedish and Finnish designers who created timeless staples of furniture, fabrics, glass and ceramics that are seen in almost every Nordic house today.
Also, Scandi reminds me of a lighter version of Japanese, so unsurprisingly design houses like Iittala and Marimekko from Finland are also a huge hit in Japan and South Korea and have had collaborations that were very well-received in the Nordic countries.
In all 3 of those styles there is a love for natural materials, quality craftsmanship and being mindful (if not minimalist) about what you own and how you treat your possessions.

My core objective is to create my chi recharge spot..eg flickering fire scented with pine cones, with my feet buried in thick sheepskin while lounging in a soft chunky sofa, and then try to figure how the rest of house should be cohesive. I always knew what I liked (Traditional/Classic + Contemporary) but didn't know how to combine them together to get that Parisian vibe. Showing the separate styles first then together has really opened my eyes.The 80/20 rule really helps.
