You can clean the adhesive off the needle with a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol.

I've been making facemasks with my fabric scraps. My sister, her hubby, his brother and mother are leaving for London in a months (for 6 months medical treatment for one of them) so I plan on making several more facemasks as going away presents for them.

Those fabric pouches are so versatile! They can hold scrap fabric, small projects, snacks on the go, etc. They're a portable pocket!

Love these ideas Janelle, I made some pattern weights with bits of spare fabric and filled with rice, i made them in a triangular pyramid shape about 3” size triangles, I gave sets of weights to my sewing friends which they loved, kept one set for myself as well x

Always enjoy your projects! I’ve found that gently cleaning the needle (while in place) with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol will easily remove the glue from the velcro. Just gently move the cotton ball up and down the needle. No need for a new needle.

Thanks Janelle. The needle case is a good idea. I’m going to make some as Christmas gifts. 👍💙✂️🧵

The needle booklet can also be made with a pinked cover. I'd recommend still doing a straight stitch around just inside of the pinked edge, so that there can't be any thread-snag accidents.
