I just bought a bunch of tools I'll need to change out my tires, (this will be my first time doing so) I've only been riding for 2 years and in the past; with my first bike, I have always taken it to a shop to be repaired. I'm on my second bike now and I want to start doing my own repairs to save me money. I wanted to say Thank you for sharing your knowledge about tires! I didn't know that about (5018) and what the red or yellow dot was for!

Can I run a front directional on the rear? I bought two exact same tire sizes as my bike has now. But both say ROTATION:FRONT ... just curious. Thank you😊

5018 means the tyres were made on the 50th week in 2018; but there are only 48 weeks in a year right?

I was was wondering about the tire pressures for M/C tires. Do you go by pressure labeled on the tire or maker of the bike/owners manual?

If I replace my worn out stock tires with new different tires that are not exactly the same size, do I still go by the motorcycle mfg.'s tire psi spec. or the new tire mfg.'s psi spec. (what is written on the tire)?
