Pollard was in the 2015 RWC squad that won the 3rd place playoff. Pollard was in the 2019 RWC winning team. Pollard will ( hopefully ) be playing in the 2023 RWC Final. Legend.

England played well, but not just that they scored no try, they didn't even get close to a try at any moment. A team like this wouldn't have deserved to play the great final. It wouldn't have been fair.

Its really brutal to be taken off 30mins i feel for libbok, its not easy even if its for the team, but we trust the coach and polard style of play and experience definitely paved the way.the weather was terrible as well. And libboks style of play unlocks backline but with rush defense and wet weather its tough.Pollard sub makes sense

The English fullback was their best player. Farrell kicked a good drop goal. The ref gifted England 12 points, and they still weren't able to win. Not giving Pollard the respect he's due for being able to stem the bleeding, marshal the team, and bring them back to get a win is frankly classless. Just kicking a crucial and difficult penalty to go ahead by one point is enough for man of the match.

Why is the grey-haired guy so sour? Surely Pollard kicking the winning penalty alone is enough to make him man of the match. We can all knit pick Mr Grey hair, so here is mine. England had the easiest of easy passages to the semi-finals. Maybe they would have fallen earlier if they had a harder passage. What did England achieve in the World Cup? They beat Australia (everyone is beating them these days) and Fiji and Argentina!
