How to Trust between two Domain Forests in Windows Server 2022

When we create a new domain, we do so by installing Active Directory on the server. This process makes that server the first domain controller in the new domain.

In a small organization, one domain may be sufficient. But in larger organizations, multiple domains are usually used to separate departments.

An Active Directory may contain multiple domains in a hierarchical manner. Not all resources of a domain may be directly accessible. Trust enables you to grant access to a resource to users, groups, and computers in different domains.

When a domain trusts another domain in an AD network, a resource from the trusted domain can be shared with the other trusted domain. Therefore, Active Directory Domain and Trust is a tool for the user to access resources from other domains on the network.
