The Power Through Fasting, Prayer, and Giving

"Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4v12

Temptation of sin is lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life (1 Jn 2v16)

Jesus addressed giving, praying and fasting in Matthew 6.

Giving destroys Greed
Prayer destroys Pride
​Fasting destroys Food

1. You will bind your flesh. (Es 9v1; Mat 12v29; Rev 20v2)

Fasting, prayer and giving is not only for super christians, it’s for everyone who has a flesh and the devil as an enemy. (Mal 4v2-3)

2. You will build your spirit.

How to build your spirit?
- Desire (I want)
- Decision (I will)
- Discipline (I must)
- Delight (I love)
- Default (I am)

3. You will birth your breakthrough. (Acts 10v30-31)

God will bring you:
1. Divine connection.
2. Divine direction
3. Divine visitation

I'm on Day 3 with 2819 church. I asked God for clarity about a Demonic spirit. He sent me to the book of Mark!!!! "ONLY Praying and fasting, casts dowm some demons." Just what I needed..CONFIRMATION.

I started my fast on Jan 1st and I was struggling to stay away from food for the first 4 days. I kept giving into temptations in the evenings until on Sunday when God lead me to videos on deliverance and I prayed for Him to remove what ever spirit of gluttony was over me. Since then looking at food or watching cooking shows/tictok I haven’t been bothered/feeling the need to eat.
