You can remove the separate search box from Firefox, as the normal address bar is also an omnibox.

Firefox is the only browser I use nowadays. I like the customisability and add-ons.

Thanks. Didn't know about Vivaldi. Subscribed.

had you shown Vivaldi's Tab Stacking and Tab tiling, it would have been clearly the first. I just find it so productive. Also, I know tabs on the side might be odd, but if your work requires you to open tons of tabs, having the tab bar on the side without thumbnails allows you to still be able to read the name of the tab.

This is a good video, i like how professionally you made the intro. Surprised that there isn't more channels out there like this one, they should look up to you.

Vivaldi was touted as the replacement for the no longer developed Opera 12x version. I miss Opera 12x and Vivaldi brings back many of it's functions. Although not anywhere near as robust as the old Opera 12x, Vivaldi provides a lot of functionality that the new Google Chrome and Opera no longer provide. Vivaldi launches pretty fast, for me, and it's quite configurable. There are numerous plug-ins for Vivaldi as it is a Chrome-based browser so you use the same Google Chrome plug-in/extension website to install them. I'm liking this browser more and more as the development of it is ongoing at a pretty good pace.

While not number one in browsers that I use, Vivaldi is number two for me. The number one spot is Chrome and, yes, it is a huge resource hog but it's main reason for being popular is that it launches almost instantly and webpages, too, load almost instantly. Response is what most people look at when choosing a web browser and Google Chrome offers that. The downfall, though, is that it is plain, too simplistic and not many options to configure for it. If you haven't tried Vivaldi, I strongly suggest you give it a try as I believe you'll be just as impressed as I am.

I use Opera because of the free VPN, it`s very useful for me since my university has blocked many websites plus it has built in ad-blocker, I tried chromes vpn extensions and they were terrible difficult to setup and some just didn`t work at all. So Opera is number 1 for me :-)

I agree that Firefox is not as good as it used to be, but it's still my preferred web browser over Google Chrome. And for one simple reason, Firefox has a sidebar for bookmarks. Despite an overwhelming majority of their customers begging for a sidebar for bookmarks, Google has refused to add one.

I have been using the Maxthon web browser for the last few years. The program, now at version 5.0, has been developed in China. It very fast with a lot of features including incognito mode browsing and the possibility of creating “shadow mailboxes” shielding personal email addresses from spammers. The choice of add-ons is also impressive.

Does Vivaldi sync across multiple machine like I do with Chrome?

On the past 15 years I've used almost any known browser there is: Flock, Opera, Maxthon, IE, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Vivaldi but I always come back to Firefox. I see a lot of potential to Vivaldi, Opera was pretty popular in 2008 if I remember correctly or at least in the geeky communities I was part of.

A fun story with Firefox from way back:

Back in the day I used MSN Explorer and IE then one day in 2005 to watch Naruto and other anime I've downloaded, I required a codec called DivX, so when I installed DivX it came with something called Firefox, I noticed it was a web browser and started using it. I fell in love right away and have been loyal to it ever since.

I like Opera and Mozzila Firefox, but the best, in my opinion is Opera

in my opinion, should of shuffled Chrome before Firefox so would of been 3 chrome, 2 Firefox and 1 Opera. Opera is my main browser on literally all devices. The speed is faster, processes sight quicker, and less process on PC especially on a lower end laptop, it's a godsent.
